Mare Cromwell is an award-winning author, plant intuitive, sacred gardener, and worm herder. Her books include Messages from Mother…. Earth Mother and If I gave you God’s phone number…. Searching for Spirituality in America. She has studied for sixteen years with Native American medicine people and offers workshops on Sacred Silliness, Womb Wisdom, Sacred Gardening and other topics. Mare also offers garden consults to help problem-solve landscaping challenges. Her worms want you to know that they herd her more than she herds them. Mare calls Western Maryland her home and is destined to raise more food where she lives. That includes goats.

What is it that you most want at the moment?
There are so many things I seek – a healthier planet, women healing themselves and tapping into their inner wise women, more sacred honoring of the Earth… and…

What I seek personally at the moment are book sales and speaking opportunities and people interested in the workshops that I am leading/co-leading.

I have two books: “Messages from Mother…. Earth Mother”  and “If I gave you God’s phone number…. Searching for Spirituality in America.”

What would you like others to know about you?
That I’m an award-winning author, Sacred Gardening, I most love being outside in the garden or the mountains (Catoctins, nearby), seek to be as spiritual and humble and walk this path of finding ways to heal the planet. I’m a cancer survivor, always dancing on the edge of taking care of myself, my body, my energy to heal. On this path of learning how to love and be present to all that life has to offer.

Bio:

I have worked for myself as a Life Coach and Hypnotist, Intuitive, Healer, and Speaker for 12+ years, starting after I got laid off from my last corporate America job. I have had well over 12,000 conversations with clients regarding a myriad of issues. Life took a turn in 2012, when I was diagnosed and treated for ovarian cancer. Because I had my own version of cancer hell, I now help others through what I know of the "cancer experience" as well as using other things I have learned along the way about love, relationships, and life. Last, by not least, I love to read and write, but am not a big fan of arithmetic (good thing you don't need me to do your taxes!).

Other Things:

I love meeting people and connecting them with the people and things they need. In some ways, there is nothing more awesome. If we connect, I will love learning more about you and what you do.

LINC: Fundraising Help Requested

Andrea Longwell (previously featured here) is in the process of creating a fundraiser for the Serenity Springs Wildlife Center in Colorado.  They have a wide variety of large cats, and some other animals that they provide forever homes to.  They need money to build 3 enclosures: a bear enclosure for a male grizzly called Huggy Bear, one for 2 female black bears called Holly and Lolly, and one for a pair of snow leopards.  

In addition, they need general funds, as what they have has been dwindling in the winter months because so few people go for tours because of the cold.  

She is in the process of putting it together, and is looking for ideas and support to help get the funds, as well as to ultimately spread the word.  Since it is a non-profit, your donations should be tax deductible.

LINC: Day 3 Andrea Longwell

Just like my Day 2 friend, Sheldon Fraser, I met Andrea at Kyle Cease's November, Las Vegas event.  Interestingly, I did not meet her until it was all over, and I was on my way out the door.  If I remember right, she may have even been the last person I connected with before my departure.

It was awesome talking to her and her dad, and I was sorry that we had not connected sooner.  She has an incredibly big heart, and is a sweetheart.  She mentioned how she works with/is friends with many local musicians where she lives in Colorado, and was surprised to find that many of the musicians are very caring and giving and that there is a lot of love and respect not just among the fans, but the artists themselves.

One of her goals is to find a way to meet her interest in music and musicians up with a way to help others, and working with charities.  (Maybe I can get her to help raise money for those dealing with ovarian cancer?  hmmm... :))

Sounds awesome to me, and I look forward to seeing how it will develop.

Since the seminar I have gotten to know her better through weekly calls several of us have that attended Kyle's event.  When I asked her what she would like for me to say about her, she says she loves helping people connect with their own inner, deeper self.  She also says she loves to help people in any way that she can, and is passionate about animals.

LINC: Day 2 Sheldon Fraser

I met Sheldon Fraser at an event put together by Kyle Cease in Las Vegas this past November.   Sheldon had come down from Canada for the event, and we met the second night when a group of us went out to dinner.

It has been a pleasure getting to know him.  He knows what he wants, and is proceeding to make it happen.  Has it been as easy as "that?"  Not quite.  But it has been awesome to watch it unfold.

Currently he is in Sacramento, and looking for a place to live and work in Newport, California.  There is an event that he is planning to attend that requires he make the funds.  He works for Vivint, which is a company that does home automation/security systems and he can provide systems anywhere in North America.  This is what he has done, but would be happy to find some other way to make a living that helps him make his dream of living in Newport a reality and helps him to accomplish earning the money he needs to work with Kyle.

LINC: Day 1 Kayley Grace

Day 1: Meet my FB friend Kayley Grace

I became aware of her through a video another friend (don't remember who) had posted of Kayley's. What I loved about it was that it was so honest, and she was asking a lot of questions that I have often asked. I wound up following her, and it has been an interesting ride as she has shared her life, living it organically and by heart.

She has started her own online TV show and has just set up a new page called The Kayley Grace Show (https://www.facebook.com/kayleygraceshow). She interviews just about anyone on topics she's interested in and shares them with the world.

(My hope and desire is to post something about each of my friends at some point, or another. Looking to do one a day. I would love it if you would share with me what you would like shared. (If you prefer I don't share about you, you can let me know that too). I am hoping this will help me to get those of you I don't know that well better, as well as introduce you to others who might be good friends or contacts.)

LINC: Revisited & Renewed

So...it has been a long time since I was actively here.

A lot has been going on, and recently I decided that
I wanted to do something like this with my Facebook
friends.  I wasn't sure where or how I would do it,
and stumbled into this trip down memory lane.

So...once again, it is ALIVE.

Ideally I would like to do one posting a day with a
new and different friend.

Let's see how it goes.

LINC: Mandie Lear

My name is Mandie...very few people call me by my given name,
which is Amanda. I love music, writing, reading, and getting to
know people.

I am currently the assistant manager of a Domino's Pizza franchise,
but hope to be starting my own Bookstore/coffee shop in the near
future. I love computers and cell phones, and fix then when I am
able for my friends and family.

I am a Christian, and am very active in my church.

LINC: June O'Reilly

At this moment in time I am trying to find my
connection to the world at large.
I have been connected to clients, and patients
and friends and family but somewhat closed
off to the rest of the world.

I am a Veterinary Technician Extraordinaire
for the last 27 years, specializing in cat
behavior, and aggressive and terrified patients.
A healer, an animal nurse and educator of
clients and anyone who needs information on
animals, and health.

I've been running all aspects of the
Veterinary Clinic as well as my own House Call
service for cat sitting, minor cat grooming,
grief support, teaching clients how to deal
with diabetes and kidney failure,
administering fluids and insulin.
It has never been a job for me, it has
been my life, I always go the extra mile,
if I can help a someone I will. Time is not
something I even pay attention to.

I realize that this is not a job I can do
forever, it is physically and emotionally
demanding so at the moment I'm thinking
about all the things I could do if I retire,
would like to retire fabulously wealthy,
but hey wouldn't we all :)

I am looking for my 'ONE' I am a unique,
deeply caring, sensitive, empathic, wild soul
I play guitar and love photography,
philosophy, math and science.

I think outside the box,
color outside the lines,
there are no labels on me.

LINC: Pamela Glasner

I am a member of a private club in Hartford, and work with the sommelier developing and maintaining the wine list. I enjoy fine art, antique architecture and love London, England. I am eagerly awaiting the birth of my first grandchild in the fall of this year.

I have written “Finding Emmaus”, book one of The Lodestarre series. It is a complex, dark historic fantasy about love and loss, obsession and the abuse of power, human frailties and a determination to live a life that matters.

It is the story of the psychiatric community which has confused Empathic Personalities with mental illness with tragic results, leading two Empaths, living three hundred years apart, on personal journeys to learn the true nature of Empathy. Transcending time and death to right a centuries-old wrong, they inadvertently uncover a multi-billion dollar conspiracy in which millions of Americans are being misdiagnosed and drugged for no other reason than the enormous income they generate.

I am excited to say the book is due in bookstores Oct 1st ‘09!

LINC: Camie Mitchell

Right off, I have to be difficult, right? My given name
is Cherrin, which is pronounced sure-in. Nobody has ever
said or spelled it correctly. After 25 years I had enough,
so I started going my Camie. So let me explain, my family
still calls me Cherrin, my friends call me a myriad of
things from Rin to Camie. I prefer Camie, for one simple
reason, it's similar to my daughters name -Katie and the
way in which I "got" this nickname. I am a Paralegal,
in every single law office, everyone goes by their initials.
Since I married mine have been CAM. It started with Cam,
and ended with Camie, but you will see multiple spellings
of it, Cami, Camy, Camee.

I would love to meet new friends. I love music, more
specifically I like alternative rock music. I always
see the cup is half full and can make any situation
positive - I think.

While I am currently a paralegal, maybe one day, I might
become a jury consultant. I love the legal industry.

I would enjoy meeting musicians, aspiring musicians
that I can plug/promote, other legal support staff,
other mommas, other step-mommas, good people, anyone,
anyone with a start-up website, social media addicts
such as myself.

LINC: Russell Hurst

I do marketing consulting and work a lot these days
with my friend, Shelly Kramer of Kramer & Co.
My strengths are in social media and other types
of traditional marketing. I'm beginning to focus
more and more on mobile marketing so as to help
clients take advantage of those tools as an
addition to their marketing mix.

I found my way to Twitter as a way to meet, engage
with and learn from new people. The result has been
some great friendships, many amazing business

I engage in Twitter and other forms of SM because I love it.
I also own a marketing consulting business and feel it's critical
to be able to help teach and guide my clients in understanding
